Series: The TOL Limelight 2022

After a hiatus in 2021, the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s TOL Limelight series returned in 2022, showcasing 20 professionals in the Toledo Region who are passionate about working in northwest Ohio and uplifting the people who live there. The 2022 series includes business owners, visionaries, artists and more. I interviewed and wrote each profile in this series.

The TOL Limelight is a series by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce for its brand Toledo Region, which highlights the best of northwest Ohio for the purpose of attracting new talent to the region and retaining the talent already there. This series of 20 emerging leaders and young professionals showcases the diversity that northwest Ohio offers in career opportunities, interests and talent. I interviewed and wrote each profile in this series.

Dublin Historical Society president preserving the past

Tom Holton’s devotion to Dublin’s history is heavy and fierce; just ask anyone on Dublin City Council. Holton is particularly focused on preserving the historic homes in Dublin, and this focus has given him a name as the local expert on historic Dublin architecture.

Dublin groups team up to take on the opioid epidemic

No matter how many times one reads opioid overdose statistics, they don’t become easier to stomach – especially when so many victims of addiction are friends, family members and classmates. In Dublin, many residents have been personally affected by the opioid epidemic, and are looking to civic leaders to raise awareness and help solve this issue. Those same civic leaders aren’t backing down from the challenge.
